The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to Trinity University in all its eight newly added courses. In a letter signed on behalf of Professor Abubakar Rasheed, Executive Secretary of the Commission by the Deputy Director Programme Accreditation, S. S. Ikani, the outcome of the exercise was successful, as the institution has “met all the required standards for the accreditation.”

A statement also signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Ayo, said that the university was licensed to operate as a private university in 2019, adding that its campus is currently at Yaba in Lagos State.

Ayo said that the accreditation panel visited the campus in November and December 2022 to assess all eight additional programmes that were presented to the NUC. He acknowledged the respective roles of the Board of Trustees (BoT), management, staff and Students and parents for the achievement so far.

He revealed that Nursing Sciences, Medical Laboratory science, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, International Relations and Marketing were the newly accredited courses
