Pro-Chancellor Commissions Trinity University’s New Demonstrative Diagnostic Centre

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Trinity University, Pastor Samuel O. Olatunji, has officially commissioned the university’s new Demonstrative Diagnostic Centre, hailing it as a commendable story of innovation and progress. In his remarks, the Pro-Chancellor commended the Vice-Chancellor for taking the initiative to establish the centre, which he believes will make a practical contribution to the lives of people.

The Pro-Chancellor encouraged all faculty, departments, and units to take ownership of their areas, emphasizing that every staff member should approach their job with a sense of responsibility and ownership.

“Take charge of your sphere. You are the vice-chancellor of your own shop. If you are in the laboratory, you are the vice-chancellor of the laboratory. If you are in the clinic, you are the vice-chancellor of the clinic. If you are in the canteen, you are the vice-chancellor of the canteen. This is the way everyone should approach their job. Our Vice-Chancellor is the global vice-chancellor, responsible for the whole university. But each of the staff has to take care of their area.”

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement O. O. Kolawole, explained that the Demonstrative Diagnostic Centre was established to apply the university’s teachings in a practical way, providing a line of revenue for the university while also reducing costs for the university community. The Pro-Chancellor commended the initiative, noting that it aligns with the university’s vision to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
