Admission Requirements for B.Sc. English & Literary Studies

🎯 UTME Admission Requirements (100 Level)

Applicants must possess:

• Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes including:
  • English Language
  • Literature in English
  • Mathematics
  • Plus two other relevant subjects

UTME Subject Combination

• English Language (Compulsory)
• Literature in English
• Government or CRS/IRS
• Any other relevant Arts or Social Science subject

Applicants must also meet the approved UTME cut-off mark and choose Trinity University as first choice or process a change of institution.

🎯 Direct Entry (DE) Requirements

Candidates with any of the following may apply for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level:

• Two A-Level passes in relevant Arts subjects
• OND, NCE, or HND in related disciplines
• JUPEB/Foundation Programme certificates with approved points

🎯 Transfer Admission

Transfer applicants from accredited universities may be considered provided they:

• Have completed at least one academic session
• Present official academic transcripts
• Meet Trinity University departmental requirements
• Possess an acceptable CGPA
